If you’re looking for things to do in Woodford, Queensland, then pop into the Woodford Visitor Information Centre located beside the water tower on the D’Aguilar Highway in Woodford.

Staffed by about 20 friendly and helpful volunteers, this Centre sees around 15,000 visitors drop in on an annual basis to collect information and maps detailing the town and surrounding areas.

The tourist information hub offers Free Wi-Fi and bus tour groups can book free guided tours of Woodford through the Centre.

A Brief History of Woodford Visitor Information Centre:

The Centre opened in 2010 and was initially located inside a caravan during its trial run before its relocation to the quaint cottage on the same site in 2012. The cottage – which now houses the Centre – was purpose built and gently manoeuvred into place in two parts.
