Amity Trader ensures your safe passage from the Redlands Coast village of Victoria Point to the tiny and beautiful Coochiemudlo Island.
The business operates both passenger and vehicle ferries seven days a week, and the crossing between mainland and island takes just 10 minutes.
Ferries and barges run approximately every half hour.
The regular service means there is no need to book – simply buy your tickets on board.
Founded in 2008, Amity Trader has a fleet of two vehicle barges and two passenger ferries.
All four vessels are staffed by experienced hands and skippered by highly experienced marine operators, one of whom is Steve Wallace, who has been involved in operating small coastal ships on Australia’s east coast for more than three decades.
Coochiemudlo Island is a small, inhabited island in southern Moreton Bay.
Perfect for weekend escapes and longer stays, Coochie, as the locals call it, offers a host of island activities, including swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating and, perhaps the most important island venture of all – relaxing!
For your next island getaway, let Amity Trader transport you effortlessly to this beautiful island, which is little more than a stone’s throw from the mainland.
