You can choose from a range of fully accredited Advanced Ecotourism products, including the world-famous Ridgetop Tour. With 130 kilometres of graded public access tracks, Arkaroola’s visitors can wander through a landscape of deep time in which human intrusions are minimal, taking short two wheel drive vehicle tracks to secluded waterholes, or more challenging four wheel drive vehicle tracks across rugged mountains to spine-tingling lookouts.

The recently launched Ridgetop Sleepout Tour is the perfect outback adventure providing the perfect combination of adventure, comfort and delicious food and wine all set against the backdrop of the stunning and rugged Flinders Ranges. An unmissable experience!

Within the sanctuary, Arkaroola Village provides all the comforts sought by the contemporary traveller including air conditioned motel lodges, a caravan park with powered and un-powered sites and bush camping areas, a licensed restaurant, bar, lounge area, fuel outlet, complimentary barbecue facilities, a large in-ground swimming pool and a visitor information centre.

With 50 powered sites and and 300 ha of bush-setting camp grounds set among rocky cliffs on a meandering creek (usually dry), Arkaroola has lovers of caravans and camping covered.

Arkaroola’s Ridgetop Sleepout Decks provide the perfect combination of adventure, comfort, and delicious food and wine, all set against the backdrop of the rugged Australian outback.
Available only as a package, guests begin by embarking on a 4WD journey to the remote Streitberg Ridge campsite. This relaxed tour along the Ridgetop Track allows time to explore, to discuss the sciences and take in the scenery at its best.
Upon arrival at Streitberg Ridge, your campsite will be ready for you to unwind and soak up the breath-taking views. As the sun sets, your host will prepare delicious canapes for you to enjoy, accompanied by local wine, as you watch the Ranges light up before your eyes.
Savour an unforgettable dinner prepared by your guide as you share stories around the campfire with fellow travellers or gaze at the stars above.
Then, retire to the comfort of a swag on one of only four elevated sleepout decks. Drift off to sleep under the canopy of stars, and wake up to the soft morning light of the new day. You may choose to view sunrise from the renowned Siller’s Lookout, before enjoying a cooked breakfast and your return trip to Arkaroola Village.
