Kimba Recreation Reserve

If you’re exploring the Eyre Peninsula by caravan or RV, there’s no better spot to base yourself for a few days than at Kimba’s free camping area, conveniently located at the town’s recreation reserve.

The free camping area provides travellers with a cost-effective stay for up to five days (longer stays need to be negotiated with Council), and includes a range of facilities including coin-operated showers, two amenities blocks and what many have told us is the most user-friendly dump point in the region. Don’t forget the new Camp Kitchen, with four free barbeques, sinks and seating to cook yourself up a feast.

With the Roora Nature Trails on your doorstep and Kimba’s sporting clubs only a few minutes walk from your site, you’ll be set to explore the sights and meet new friends as the sun sets on another day of adventure.
