The Apothecary

The Apothecary is a 16th century word for place where herbs and medicines were made and dispensed.

Situated on the main street above the Murray River this beautifully appointed studio was built in the 1920’s as a chemist shop.

The Apothecary accommodates 2 people (there is space for a child). There is a fully appointed kitchen and bathroom and is 200 meters from the shopping precinct.

Across the road is the cliff top walk along the beautiful Murray river. Boat ramps are nearby and fishing is very popular. There are boat tours available as well. Wineries in the region sell local wines and great food.
