Dating back to 1872, the old Sellicks Chaff Mill became a thriving business, filling the nose bags of massive bullock teams on their runs between Adelaide and the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, until disaster struck: it was gutted by a vicious fire in 1919. Left to go to ruin for nearly 100 years, and rescued just in time, it is now reborn as an utterly unique accomodation experience. Nestled in 7 1/2 glorious acres where the Sellicks foothills meet the ocean, and tucked secretly away between our biodynamic Shiraz vineyard and almond grove, come and sample local farm produce as you soak up the peace in an outdoor claw foot bath, or enjoy a complimentary bottle of shiraz on your private Juliette balcony overlooking the vines.
We will be opening for guests at the beginning of November
