A uniquely crafted, hand-built, totally eco-friendly “tiny house”, situated directly across the road from South Australia’s most accessible and iconic pink lake – Lake Bumbunga, only 90 minutes’ drive from Adelaide.
This tiny house is a fully self-contained accommodation facility, ensuring the guest’s stay is both gentle on the planet and climate-friendly. Electrical power is generated through solar panels on the roof and then stored in a battery. The tiny house also uses rainwater collected on the roof and stored in a 5,000-litre tank. Shower greywater is filtered and then waters a plant bed. Mains water and mains power are available as backup if required.
Facilities:
• The tiny house sleeps four people on four futon beds in two seperate loft bedrooms.
• Kitchen facilities: gas stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, pod coffee machine, kettle, rice cooker and cooking utensils.
• Bathroom facilities: shower with high quality shower gels, vanity-basin, mirror, hairdryer and bio-composting toilet.
• Living Room: table for 2, that folds out for up to 4 and a couch.
• The loft bedrooms have authentic high quality Japanese futon beds.
• Other facilities include free wifi, reverse-cycle air conditioning, blue-tooth music speaker, board and card games and karaoke microphones.
• Sheets, pillowcases, quilts, blankets & towels provided.

It is a large luxurious eco-friendly tiny house on wheels that caters for 1-4 guests.
Located opposite picturesque ‘pink salt lake’ Lake Bumbunga in Lochiel, 90 minutes drive from Adelaide and with easy access to both Clare Valley and Yorke Peninsula tourism regions.
Features of the tiny house include electrical power from solar-panels, odourless bio-composting toilet, reverse cycle air-conditioning, rain shower with quality L’Occitane gels, kitchenette, cosy living area, games, projector and free wifi. The bedding is a queen-sized bed on the lower level and two single futons in the loft bedroom. Outside is a large patio deck overlooking the pink lake and a fire-pit.
Rates
$295.00 per night for 1 or 2 guests weekdays (Sun-Thu).
$315.00 per night for 1 or 2 guests weekends (Fri/Sat & long weekends)
Additional $35 per additional guest per night.
Accommodates a maximum of 4 guests.
A cleaning fee of $80 is included in the above pricing.
