Umoona Opal Mine has underground bunkhouse style rooms with communal showers, toilets, kitchen and lounge. Daily tours available through the Aboriginal Interpretive Centre, underground home and our real opal mine including a 20 minute award winning documentary The Story of Opal. Underground museum, coffee room, souvenirs and opal shop also available. Coach groups welcome. 2000, 2001 and 2002 Yellow Pages Tourism Award Winner. We also have one of the largest opal and Opal jewellery displays to showcase Australia’s National Gemstone

We have Underground bunk house style rooms for bus groups with up to 92 people per bunkhouse. We also provide communal showers, toilets, kitchen with kettle and toaster and lounge.
We have got in total five bunk houses were we can accommodate groups.
We offer for each group who is staying with us tours through our mine and underground homes.
