Situated 40 kilometres north-east of Port Augusta, Wilkatana Station’s shearers quarters have been refurbished with style to sleep up to 14 people.
Bird watchers will be enthused with over 130 birds identified on the property; bush walkers can complete the Heysen Trail from Depot Creek to Dutchman’s Stern, Buckaringa Gorge or simply take in the ever changing terrain. The artist’s can let their imagination run wild. Paint, sketch or photograph whatever you desire.
A place to enjoy peaceful days and camp fire nights within the entrance to the Southern Flinders Ranges. There are easy day drives to Wilpena Pound and surrounding attractions from Wilkatana Station.
Try our low to moderate 4WD track around sand hills past salt lakes and part of the station s water run. Sun set drinks are a must while at the sand hills!
Enjoy 500 sq KM all to yourselves, a truely unique experience.
