A full day Barossa tour – NEW ITINERARY – Effective 03 July 2019
Travel in a small coach and enjoy a food and wine journey to South Australia’s premium wine region, the Barossa. Take time to sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines and gourmet food that makes this wine region so special.
On this tour visit Pindarie Cellar Door and Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop. Enjoy a delicious two- course gourmet lunch and tastings at Lambert Estate, and finish your day with a chocolate and wine pairing at the new Barossa Valley Chocolate Company.
Operates: 9.15am to 5.15pm Wednesday to Sunday from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, 85 Franklin Street (or selected Adelaide hotels).
Note: Tour does not run on Good Friday or Christmas Day.
• Pindarie will be closed between 23rd December 2019 to 5th January 2020 and morning tea and wine tastings will be held at Kies Family Wines and Monkey Nut Café.
• On 1st January 2020 (New Year’s Day) Pindarie and Maggie Beers are both closed. Morning tea and tastings at Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre and tastings at Saltram Wine Estate will replace them.
This full day Barossa tour takes passengers to sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines including the world famous Jacobs Creek Winery and a cellar door tasting at Saltram Wine Estate. Take in the amazing view of the valley from Mengler’s Hill Lookout, and enjoy a delicious two course lunch and wine tastings from two boutique wineries at the South Australian Company Store in Angaston.
Then wind your way through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to Hahndorf, where you have free time to either explore the main street of this historic German village.
