We are passionate about the Australian outback. It is a vast country out there to explore, and a large portion of it is not accessible by road and therefore can only be seen and appreciated from the air. DAY 1: From Port Augusta, we fly over the Flinders Ranges and Leigh Creek Coalfields for Etadunna Station along the Birdsville Track where we stop for morning tea. we then depart for Innamincka township. Here you will be take town tour, before lunch at the Innamincka Hotel. Back on the plane we follow the Cooper Creek to the famous Bourke & Wills Dig Tree. we depart over the gorgeous Coongie Lakes, the Strzelecki & Stoney Deserts, Lake Etamunbanie before arriving in Birdsville.
You will join a Big Red Sunset Tour. A unique experience, sitting on top of Big Red, watching the sun set whilst enjoying a beer or wine Before dinner at Iconic Birdsville Hotel.
DAY 2: Birdsville Bakery for a hearty breakfast and a wander before heading off on a Town tour where you will visit the towns artesian bore, Birdsville Racecourse and historical buildings before embarking over the Simpson Desert (Munga-Thirri National Park & Conservation Park), Channel Country, Goyder Lagoon, Kallakoopah River, Warburton River and Lake Eyre North onto William Creek for lunch. From here we fly over the Anna Creek Station, the Anna Creek Painted Hills, Olympic Dam Mine and Roxby Downs before returning to Port Augusta.

On your Lake Eyre Flight from Port Augusta we fly over the Spencer Gulf, Flinders Ranges, Wilpena Pound and the many gorges on our way to Leigh Creek for refuelling. (morning tea provided). From here we head over Aroona Dam, the Coalfieds, Marree Man, Lake Eyre South & Lake Eyre North onto William Creek for lunch and a refreshment at the iconic William Creek Hotel. After enjoying a wander around we return to Port Augusta over the spectacular Anna Creek Station and Painted Hills, Olympic Dam and Roxby Downs. Located in the outback desert is a truly unique underground town that was built to avoid the scorching heat of the outback desert. In the 60’s and 70’s saw opal mining develop into a multi-million dollar industry. Many locals are still mining for opal today but the town relies heavily today on tourism as well. Coober Pedy has culture, charm and a unique lifestyle. Take the opportunity to visit old and current mines, churches, houses and motels with a local guide.

Depart Port Augusta and fly over Roxby Downs, Olympic Dam, Prominent Hills mine and the spectacular Anna Creek Painted Hills before landing at Coober Pedy for a locally guided tour of this wonderfully unique outback Opal mining town. You will experience the towns’ rich history, diverse culture and outback charm, whilst visiting underground homes, churches, museums, opal mines, and other Coober Pedy specialties. Coober Pedy truly is like no other place in the world.
Enjoy a light lunch before your freetime to wander the township admiring the many opal shops and meeting the locals before flying back over the town and diggings of Coober Pedy, the great salt lakes, mini islands and vastness of this outback to Port Augusta.

DAY 1: Departing Port Augusta or Hawker SA, the flight will take us over Wilpena Pound, the Flinders ranges, several Gorges, Aroona Dam, Leigh Creek open-cut coal fields, Marree Man, Lake Eyre South and half of Lake Eyre North, landing at the remote town of William Creek for lunch (an iconic pub on the Oodnadatta Track). From here we fly over the beautiful Anna Creek Painted Hills onto Coober Pedy for your overnight stay.
After settling into your unique underground accommodation, you will head out to the Breakaways on a sunset tour before returning for your evening meal.
DAY 2: After breakfast, you will take a tour of the Coober Pedy township, homes, churches, and mines all whilst learning the history of the underground way of life. You will then have free time to take a walk, visit the many opal shops and surrounds, then have lunch before joining up again to depart for Port Augusta.

DAY 1: Departing Port Augusta we fly over the Flinders Ranges, Wilpena Pound, Gammon Ranges and the many gorges along the way to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary for your overnight stay. After settling in and enjoying lunch, you will join the world famous 4×4 WD ridge top tour to Sillers Lookout. Afterwards you will have some free time before your evening meal in the Native Pine dining room. At 8pm you can join the Star gazing tour to the observatory, which is said to be one of the best locations in Australia to see the stars before retiring.

DAY 2: After breakfast we return to the plane and head to the remote airstrip on Etadunna station which is on the Birdsville Track. We then follow the Cooper Creek, over Lake Eyre North & the Warburton Inlet and across to the iconic William Creek Hotel for lunch. After lunch we return to Port Augusta via the Anna Creek Painted Hills, Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs and Lake Torrens.

Our Extreme Outback Tour is an in-depth tour and look at the vastness and uniqueness that the outback can represent. For full itinerary please visit our website.

Day 1: Depart Port Augusta for Arkaroola taking in the flinders ranges and the Iconic and picturesque Wilpena pound, Before embarking on ground Tours at Arkaroola.

Day 2: Departing Arkaroola we make our way into the outback and on our way to innamincka for a tour and lunch. After lunch we depart for Birdsville with a stop along the way at the burke and wills dig tree. After arrival in Birdsville their will be a big red sunset tour followed by dinner at the Birdsville Hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast we depart for Coober Pedy taking in the sights of Lake Eyre along the way. Lunch in William creek before we continue onto the painted hills before arriving at our destination of Coober Pedy. We head to the breakaways for a sunset tour.

Day 4: Town Tour and exploring in the morning. Followed by lunch. After lunch a departure for Port Augusta taking in the sights of olympic dam and Roxby downs on the way.
