Red, White and Brew is not your typical wine tour!

With a unique difference from all the standard wine tours, this experience offers you tastings at two wineries, a gin distillery, and a brewery and includes all tastings and a light lunch.

After a 9 am pick-up, you’ll head out of the city to the iconic Barossa Valley and first stop for the day is Kies Family Wines. This family winery prides itself on providing a personal experience to all who visit.
Enjoy the homely feel as you taste their awesome selection of wines before you move on to Pindarie, the second winery of the day. In a restored grain store and adjacent stables, you’ll experience a guided tasting of their award-winning wines followed by a lunch of regional produce.

After leaving Pindarie behind, you’ll make your way further into the heart of the Barossa, stopping to wander in historic Tanunda, before heading off to enjoy a structured gin tasting.

The last destination of the day (via Seppeltsfield) is Greenock Brewery. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the brewer and take a tour of the brewery while enjoying a taste of their beers before heading back to Adelaide.

After pick-up from your accommodation, travel to the original ‘Port Misery’ where you’ll explore the history of Port Adelaide, Largs Bay and Semaphore.

Explore how the early settlers of Australia travelled across the world to make a new home in a foreign land.

Visit historic Torrens Island Quarantine Station, once the state’s first line of defence for containing transferable diseases before heading over to the Clipper Ship City of Adelaide, one of only two surviving composite clipper ships.

After lunch, visit the SA Maritime Museum, a repository of thousands of items documenting the history of Port Adelaide. View the collection of mastheads, hear about the ‘Mosquito Fleet’ who plied their trade around SA waters and read the ‘Scuttlebutt’ about early life behind the scenes in Port Adelaide.

There will be free time in Port Adelaide before you hear about the historic boat sheds and the boats built at Fletchers Slip. Take a wander up Semaphore Road with its village feel and range of boutique shops and cafes. If there’s time, head for a photo stop at the iconic Largs Pier Hotel on the way home before they drop you back to your accommodation in time for tea.
