Coorong Wildside Tours is a new and exciting tour business giving visitors the opportunity to explore the Coorong in a unique way. Glen and Tracy Hill are offering small boat tours of the Coorong, and associated RAMSAR listed wetlands and surrounds. Specialising in small intimate groups and tailored itineraries to suit your needs.
You will receive personal attention and a unique perspective of the region from a fisherman with over 30 years’ experience. All food menus are selected, prepared and cooked by Tracy including fresh fish of the day caught by Glen. Take one of the carefully designed tours or choose your own experience from our range of options.

Take a walk on the Wildside
Get close up and personal with the beauty of the Coorong on our picturesque ½ day trip from Long Pt jetty to the Tauwitcherie Barrage. This is where the fresh water lakes are separated from the salt water of the Coorong. Enjoy a scenic boat ride and observe the birds wheeling overhead, watch emus wind their way up the sandhills and meet the pelicans.
See the seals lazing on the barrage structures before enjoying a gourmet morning tea at the foot of some amazing sandhills. Skipper Glen will provide an informative commentary and answer all of your questions. You will then enjoy a tasting of some local seafood delicacies.

Enjoy a boat ride along the Coorong to The Needles Island arriving at a shallow sandy bay. Explore the shoreline with Glen before challenging yourself with a climb up one of the tallest sandhills of the Coorong. At the top marvel at the stunning vista of the Coorong and then turn to view the waves crashing on the ocean beach of the Younghusband Peninsula. Observe animal tracks, and perhaps spot an emu or kangaroo.
Spectacular for a happy snap or professional photography or spending some quiet time exploring and contemplating nature at its best. You are invited on a journey with your hosts Glen and Tracy Hill who give you a behind the scenes of award winning Coorong Wild Seafood. They will give you an insight into how a regional delicacy is caught and processed. A wealth of local knowledge is coupled with a guided tour of the processing factory, as well as tempting you with tastings of their products.
Learn about our local fishing industry, observe how the fishermen’s catch is received, packed and stored. Witness the famous Coorong Mullet being filleted at high-speeds.
Enjoy a tantalising tasting of the in-house smoked fish along with other seafood surprises including the underrated but delicious Carp. Our tour can be tailored to your interests with a video presentation or alternatively a cooking demonstration featuring simple recipes that you can use at home.
