A two day Kangaroo Island tour – your chance to discover the fascinating wildlife, spectacular scenery and unique local produce. With return coach and ferry transfers to Kangaroo Island, and overnight accommodation, all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your time away.

First stop is Seal Bay for a walk along the beach amongst a breeding colony of rare Australian sea lions. Enjoy a 2 course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro, before heading to Flinders Chase National Park. Devastated by the fires in January 2020, you’ll be able to see the regeneration of the bush first hand, and stop at Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch for photo opportunities. Finish the day at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can feed kangaroos and get up close to koalas.

Day 2 is all about meeting the local producers, and after the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey display at Raptor Domain, you will visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, join a guided tour at Clifford’s Honey Farm and enjoy tastings at the new False Cape Wines Cellar Door.

Apart from its amazing wildlife, Kangaroo Island is well known for its thriving food & wine industry and your local guide will introduce you to some of the island’s leading creators where you will taste some local Kangaroo Island produce.

On your tour you will watch an in-flight display of Australian Birds of Prey at Raptor Domain. Then it’s on to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for a delicious lunch, followed by a guided tour of the distillery. Stop at Clifford’s Honey Farm and learn about honey production and their range of honey and beauty products, on a guided tour. Finish the day with a structured wine tasting at the new False Cape Wines cellar door.

Kangaroo Island is a perfect destination for a self-drive holiday, and SeaLink has a range of great options for you to choose from. Many people underestimate the size of the Island and the huge number of things to see and do, so we recommend a minimum of three days.

This package includes return SeaLink ferry fares with vehicle (up to five metres in length), plus two nights twin share accommodation in either Kingscote, Penneshaw or American River.

Prices are based on twin share – extra nights are available on request.

Discover the amazing Seal Bay on this popular Kangaroo Island tour.

An early morning scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis to connect with the SeaLink Ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Kangaroo Island.

Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and learn about the history of the oil distillery.

After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk amongst a breeding colony of wild Australian sea lions. Your tour will then visit Raptor Domain for the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display, an interactive experience to meet an array of birds and raptors.

Lastly travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park and get up close with koalas, hand feed kangaroos and wallabies, learn about endangered species and interact with snakes and reptiles.

Late this afternoon return to Penneshaw Ferry Terminal for the return journey to Adelaide.

After lunch travel to Flinders Chase National Park, where you will be taken to the rugged southern coastline. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen swimming and playing.

Join your local Kangaroo Island Odysseys Guide on this small group tour to explore the regeneration of Kangaroo Island’s landscapes and native vegetation as it bounces back following the January 2020 bushfires. Learn about the flora, fauna and fire ecology of this scenic wildlife haven as it goes through a regenerative process and see the incredible epicormic growth coming through for yourself.

You’ll tour with a maximum of 6 guests so you’ll have plenty of time to learn about the environment, ask questions from your local Guide and stop for photo opportunities. Visit the Flinders Chase National Park, walk amongst the wild Australian sea lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park, see kangaroos, koalas and native Australian birds in their natural settings.
