Nakurami Kondoli Whale Lookout

Natural Attractions

Nakurami Kondoli Whale Lookout is located at Kings Beach on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Set in a peaceful spot just ten minutes’ drive from the heart of Victor Harbor. This viewing platform provides fantastic views out to West Island and the Bluff. There are benches where you can sit and breath in the fresh sea air as you watch the seabirds flocking to the Island. You can read all about the history, about the types of whales that visit these waters, and the Nakurami Shark Dreaming story. The Heysen Trail runs directly past the lookout and is a popular starting place for walkers, but that is another adventure. This wonderful lookout is a project of The Rotary Club of Victor Harbor and has been sustainably built using recycled materials. Take a moment for yourself, listen to the waves rolling in, surrounded by stunning coastlines and and relax.
