Established by the Lindner family in 1944, St Hallett are masters of Barossa Shiraz and one of Australia’s most admired wine brands. Visitors to our Cellar Door can enjoy a range of specialist wine experiences; taste the regions hero varietals in our Explorer Tasting, deep dive on Barossa Valley Shiraz in our Masterclass, or indulge in our chocolate and wine experience. Tastings can be paired with a cheese or regional Barossa platter. Or for those craving relaxation, head outdoors to our expansive lawns with a deluxe picnic hamper whilst taking in spectacular Barossa Valley views. For the ultimate wine lovers day out, we have partnered with two other iconic Barossa wineries, Grant Burge and Rolf Binder Wines, to create a half-day self driving experience, the ‘Taste and Graze Barossa Food and Wine Trail’.

Experience a beautiful day out of food and wine in the famous Barossa Valley, visiting three of its most heritage rich wineries. The day starts at Grant Burge Wines with an indulgent tasting of artisan chocolates expertly paired with premium Grant Burge Wines. Then it’s a short drive down the road to St Hallett for a premium Barossa wine tasting, accompanied with a local cheese plate. It’s then a short drive to Rolf Binder Wines for a lunch of gourmet pizzas and wine, to be enjoyed in the historic Cellar Door or the beautiful gardens to soak up the views across to vineyards from the veranda.

Discover a new level of luxury with the St Hallett “Exclusive Releases” ultimate tasting experience. This is a unique and personalised wine tasting experience which offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a more in depth and exclusive look at our premium and luxury Shiraz. Start your journey with a glass of our traditional Method NV Black Sparkling Shiraz and relax into our private tasting room, where you will be guided through a carefully curated wine flight of both our iconic flagship wines as well as our ultimate premium Shiraz released to date. After your experience, relax with a glass of our super premium ‘Mighty OX’ Shiraz, alongside selection of Barossa finest smallgoods and local artisan cheese platter.

Start your experience at Cellar Door with St Hallett Explorer guided tasting flight. Your host will then escort you to a beautiful setting on our estate lawns overlooking the vineyards, where your picnic experience awaits. Our team will create a beautiful picnic setting ready for your arrival, complete with rugs, grazing board and glasses – everything you need to relax and unwind. Surrounded by the vineyards, you will dine on a gourmet picnic platter accompanied by a bottle of your choice from a select range of St Hallett wines including Eden Valley Riesling, Rose, Faith or Garden of Eden Shiraz. The picnic menu will be a seasonal selection from the region of cheese and charcuterie, which includes local cured meats, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, nuts, olives and crackers, baguette and a sample of other gourmet picnic items chosen by our team on the day.
