Popular location for beach fishing, with deep holes dominating the beach.

The main beach is not recommended for swimming as its exposed to persistent higher waves and dominated by strong permanent reef controlled rips, and in the north beach rips.

Strong confident swimmers can access the southern beaches during normal low wave conditions.
