Today you’ll discover the legacy of R.M.Williams and explore the workshop with a private behind the scenes tour, complete with a personal fitting for your own pair of boots, combining the practical styling of rugged bushman aesthetic with style and comfort.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll be met by your private local guide and driven to the R.M.Williams workshop, just north of Adelaide City. Take an excursion through the site and learn about this beloved Australian staple.

You’ll have a brief interlude to enjoy some morning tea and good conversation with your private guide and your R.M. host.

Following your tour of the workshop, you’ll visit the R.M.Williams Percy Street store and Museum. Here, you can peruse the gallery of boots and discover the history of the brand. You’ll also have a personal fitting with your very own pair of Craftsman boots to take home.

On conclusion of this half-day tour, you’ll be delivered back to your accommodation by your private guide.

Embark on a behind the scenes Shaw + Smith tour throughout their winery and vineyard, followed by a hosted wine flight tasting where you’ll sample several of their championed wines.

Spend time at family-run Deviation Road. This boutique winery showcases a spectacular cellar door and tasting room with a specialisation in méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine. Indulge in a private tasting of their premium seasonal wines and their incredible disgorging experience.

Later that afternoon spend time at Oliver’s Taranga and learn the history and story of one of South Australia’s oldest run family vineyards. Explore the vines, and taste the wines through a multi-sensory, interactive vineyard experience. Finish the day with a wine tasting experience in their Cellar Door, before beginning the journey back to Adelaide.

Spend time with the owners of the truffle farm, the truffle hunters, and their specially trained dogs to get a firsthand look into the Truffling industry which is relatively new to South Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes into the somewhat secret society of truffles. Join the truffle hunt with the expert handlers and dogs. You might like to get your hands dirty on the dig to seek out the prized ‘diamonds of the kitchen’!

Hosted in the truffle farmer’s private residence, lunch is a seasonal regional style, ideal for a winter’s day and is accompanied by local premium Adelaide Hills wines.
