Founded in 1999 by two friends with a passion for great wine, Two Hands Wines’ ambition is to showcase the diversity of Australian Shiraz. Driven by a passion for quality, Two Hands aims to highlight the nuances of fruit expression of the variety from six prized and diverse wine growing regions across South Australia and Victoria.
The name Two Hands was inspired by the personal, artisanal and ‘hands-on’ approach to the craft of wine growing taken by Michael Twelftree and his team.
From inception, Two Hands Wines set out to be unique and imaginative. This approach is reflected in many facets of the business, from the idiosyncratic names on the labels, to the distinctive packaging, vineyard site selection, tourism offering and not least, the wines themselves.

From the hedonistic heights of our Secret Block in the Moppa Hills to our very special Holy Grail vineyard in Seppeltsfield .. enjoy a privately hosted adventure in our luxury Defender 4WD vehicles along picturesque dirt roads and normally inaccessible private property. Our bespoke itinerary showcases five very distinct vineyards and their unique terroir, all within a short distance of one another.
Take it all in before enjoying a long lunch back at our Cellar Door, where you will taste the pinnacle of our portfolio, with a full Flagship Series tasting.

The Search For The Holy Grail is a hosted Vineyard Experience in our luxury 4WD Defender vehicles. Visit our estate ‘Holy Grail’ vineyard with the best views in the Barossa Valley, whilst tasting our ‘Holy Grail’ Shiraz in the vineyard from which it was produced. Then journey back to the Cellar Door for a winery tour, where you can learn about our winemaking and classification process before tasting some of our exciting new wines still in barrel.
