First, we’ll meet at the entrance to the Cenotes parklands, where a statue resides. You and/or your group will be lent a small torch, given a glowing bracelet . We will begin, walking towards the sinkhole, around the park, whilst looking for possums as we go. As we walk around Umpherston Cenotes, you will be guided through a historical journey of discovery, creation and wonder.
Our journey continues down into the Cenotes where amongst the gardens we will find an abundance of possums. Watch your step as we walk down into the base (for those with physical impairments, adjustments will be made), as it can be slippery and possums will pop out of nowhere. I will introduce you to some friendly possums give you plenty of opportunities to take photos with them.
As we will continue down into the grounds, you will be shown special locations where they hide and be introduced to the different possum personalities. The tour should take approximately 1 hour and you will be left having a unique experience Mount Gambier is known for but with a special added extra.
