Valley Wine Tours will collect you from and return you to your Country Accommodation (Clare Valley, Burra, Mintaro, Blyth). Other pick-up areas can be negotiated.
As a Clare local, Charles knows the back roads, is friends with the cellardoor staff, and his decades of wine experience will help you get the most out of your tour. Repose in the comfort of our leather seated and air-conditioned vehicle while you tour the magical Clare Valley.
Operator Charles Grover has a passion for the stories and achievements of the Australian wine industry and it’s people. Charles lives in Clare, and he has spent decades travelling around various Australian wine regions representing many different wineries.
No Cowboys Here! Be careful with using a driver who is not accredited or drives a vehicle which isn’t registered for taking passengers. Charles is fully DPTI accredited and your vehicle is chauffer-registered and fully insured.
Services
You will be collected from your Clare Valley accommodation. Relax in comfort as you are driven through this beautiful wine region and discover what makes the Clare Valley such a distinct area. Make a few winery friends along the way, and you will be returned safely back to your accommodation.
Your day of visiting the Clare Valley’s beautiful wineries will make wonderful memories, and this will be your private tour.
Your tour guide is extremely wine-savvy, and this is no cookie-cutter tour.
Put on your Red Wine boots, or your Riesling hat, and let’s go. If you have the date, book asap as there is only one tour available per day.
As a local, your tour guide knows the back roads, knows the cellardoor staff, and had access to vineyards and wineries where city tour operators are not allowed.
Lunch in a small winery (with a glass of wine of course) is provided, and we will discuss and incorporate your dietary requirements beforehand so you can enjoy this famous Mid-North South Australian wine region.

This is the best option.
If you book this tour, a few others might join you, and you will all travel in
leather seated luxury. The owner Charles is your driver. As a local, he knows the back roads, knows the cellar door staff, and has access to vineyards and wineries where out-of-town tour operators are not allowed.
Be collected from your accommodation (max 35 minutes from
Clare) and relax in leather seated comfort as we visit 4 or 5 lovely Clare
Valley wineries.
The approximate times for this tour are 10am – 5pm.
You choose the lunch you want to have. Rather than just supply you a Baguette and call it lunch, we shall take a break at an award winning venue which has lots of options (including Vegan and Vegetarian) from $5 to $15, and great coffee too.
The point is; this is the best value of all the wine tours operating in the Clare Valley, so if this looks good to you, and the date is available, book your tour now.

If you have the group, and the date, then book asap as we only offer one tour per day. Your tour guide is a Clare Valley local, and this is a truly unique experience.
Your day will includes a structured gin tasting by the Distiller and lunch in the distillery. We also visit a couple of boutique wineries, and this will be a private tour.
The owner is the driver. As a local, he will share the lesser known historic landmarks, and can accommodate the tour to suit your group. Lunch in a small distillery is included in the price, and we will discuss and incorporate your dietary requirements beforehand so you can enjoy this famous Mid-North South Australian wine region.
You will be collected from your Clare Valley accommodation. Relax in comfort as you are driven through this beautiful region and discover some Gins and wines and the beautiful places they are made in. Make a few friends along the way, and be returned safely back to your accommodation.

With a Wine Tour you can see and learn more in a day than you will in a week.
If you like to bring your dog on holidays with you, we have a wine tour where your dog can come too.
Put on your Riesling hat, get ready to buy some small boutique wines, and don’t forget the doggie.
We help look after your dog when the tasting room can’t.
Your tour of visiting the Clare Valley’s beautiful wineries will make wonderful memories, and this will be your private day out, for 2 to 3 passengers plus your fur baby.
We collect you from your accommodation (up to 35 minutes from Clare) and return you there after our adventures.
Lunch is not provided, so you can ask for some ideas as it is your day out. You may want us to book a special restaurant, or have a wine-tasting-and-food option organised for you; the decision is entirely yours.
