Australia Day Celebrations throughout Wattle Range

Wattle Range Council will again support local Lions Clubs and community organisations in hosting complimentary breakfast celebrations across the Council region this Australia Day.

We invite everyone to participate and enjoy celebrating the Australia Day breakfast and the presentation of the awards.

Official presentations to recipients of the Young Citizen of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year aned Active Citizen, as well as the Youth Recognition Awards, will form part of the program at the Australia Day breakfasts held in Beachport, Kalangadoo, Millicent and Penola, starting at 8 am on January 26.

The location of the breakfast events are as follows:
Millicent – Jubilee Park, North Terrace, Millicent
Penola – War Memorial Park, Church Street, Penola
Beachport – Lagoon Reserve, Sommerville Street, Beachport
Kalangadoo – Kalangadoo Institute, Eliza Street, Kalangadoo

In the afternoon, the Southend Progress Association & Tantanoola Progress Association will host a free gathering with a BBQ and games, which is also proudly supported by the Council.
