Calvin Bowman is a renowned organist and prolific composer specializing in art-song. His song ‘Now Touch the Air Softly’, recorded by Emma Matthews with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra for Deutsche Grammophon/ABC Classics, has become one of the most popular Australian artsongs. Dr. Bowman is an exclusive Decca/UMA artist.

Formed in Adelaide in 1995, Seraphim Trio has enjoyed an unusually longstanding line-up, with its current membership commencing in1998.
Seraphim is acclaimed for its encyclopedic projects such as its marathon performances of the complete Beethoven Trios. In 2019, Seraphim’s recording with Paul Kelly’s, Thirteen Ways to Look at Birds, won the ARIA award for Best Classical Album.
The inimitable Jane Doyle will, as she has for every BBB festival in the past, grace us with her edifying emceeing.
