SALA Amy Hamlyn Art

Amy is an abstract artist from Adelaide. Acrylic paint is her favourite medium, but she explores other mixed media through her work. Amy is self taught and has been exhibiting since 2021 when art became her full time career. Her art is bold, colourful and draws the viewer in. She processes her emotions on the canvas, with the mark making and shapes depicting the trauma she has endured and healed through. As and artist, Amy is a strong advocate for art education, particularly for children, as art is a positive way to process big feelings and to express themselves in a creative way.
