Amica Whincop – Learn To Paint Organic Abstracts Workshop

This is a small group workshop, which caters to first-time painters looking for an empowering jump start on their creative path, to professional painters seeking a new perspective, and all levels in-between.
These heart-centred and educational workshops offer a vast toolbox of new techniques and a fresh creative perspective guaranteed to energise your life on and off the canvas. I demonstrate and break down many of my unique personal painting techniques which are informed by the rhythms of nature, and explore colour layering, composition, value contrast, expressive mark-making, dripping, fluid techniques and various materials.
Along the way, I offer invaluable prompts and exercises to support letting go, connecting to intuition, and drawing from a place of authenticity.
Workshop ticket includes all art materials, tuition, tea/coffee and cake and a catered lunch. No previous experience needed.
Participants will be offered the unique chance to have their final artwork put on a wine label on a magnum of Shiraz or x 2 bottles of Rosenvale Semillon for an additional cost of $70 delivered, pre-ordering is required for this special option.
