Coorong National Park is of enormous cultural significance to the Ngarrindjeri and South East Aboriginal groups with cultural material present throughout the park demonstrating Aboriginal presence over thousands of years. Kurangk is the Ngarrindjeri word for Coorong and means long narrow neck.

Join our Cultural Rangers on a guided walk along the Nruggie Ngoppun (Good Walk) Trail at Salt Creek (2.5kms). Bushwalking is a fantastic way to connect with nature, keep fit and spend time with family and friends.

Please note that this event may be canceled in the event of poor weather. Participating numbers are restricted to 20. All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
