Fer Kernewek, Moonta

The Southern Cross Austereo Fer Kernewek is a traditional Cornish Fair featuring many varied stalls selling food, souvenirs and trinkets with entertainment throughout the day at the Moonta Football Oval. This is a free event.
The following events will take place at Moonta Oval
*The Official Opening of the 2023 Kernewek Lowender Copper Coast Cornish Festival will take place at 11.45pm at the Official Marquee on the Western end of Moonta Oval. Includes welcome speeches from the Official Party and features the Australian and Cornish National Anthems.
*Radio Magic FM and 5CS Maypole Dancing – following the official opening
*Drakes Supermarket Pasty Bake Off – 1.30pm
*Radio Magic FM and 5CS Furry Dance – 1.15pm
