In the lead up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ which kicks off across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand from 20 July 2023, Adelaide/Tarntanya is hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup Unity Pitch at Colley Reserve in Glenelg from Saturday 13 January to Wednesday 18 January 2023.
To mark the One year to go milestone, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ unveiled their own modern representation of the game with a vibrant and unique multi-coloured football pitch, inspired by the tournament’s brand and all the nations that it represents. The pitch is a patchwork of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ brand colours, reflecting the two unique local cultures of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and the coming together of 32 participating nations.
In between community activations and local football club training sessions the pitch will be available for use by the public with balls, bibs, and goals ready for you to come and play!
There will also be giveaways and the opportunity to meet the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Official Mascot Tazuni™, so be sure to come and check it out.
