Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

22 Nov 2020 Once Only Event

Palace Nova East End Cinemas will be screening the film ‘A Hopeful Path to 2040’ .
2040 is a message of hope about the environment.
Instead of detailing the dire consequences of climate change, filmmaker Damon Gameau, strives to show there are many ways for us to deal with the crisis, and to begin repairing the damage.
There will be a Q and A after with speakers Uncle Frank Wanganeen (Kaurna Elder), Brittany Smith (Eco-Anxiety Masters), Philippa Rowland (Multifaith SA) & Dr Ingo Weber (Doctors for the Environment Australia).

The event is co-hosted by Community Connections, (a Pilgrim Uniting Church Project), the Environmental Action Group of the Uniting Church of Australia, and the Multifaith Association of SA.

Donations are welcome and will be shared by Multifaith SA and Environmental Action Group – UCA. Both groups are made up of volunteers who are committed to share information and support action towards sustainable earth practices.

Refreshments available from Palace Nova Eastend- Please note, due to Covid restrictions, refreshments from elsewhere are not allowed at the venue.
