Great Northern Lodge Pichi Richi Marathon

Pichi Richi Marathon is an annual event that runs (literally) from Port Augusta to Quorn in South Australia through the picturesque Pichi Richi Pass. It is considered the most challenging marathon in Australia

Full Marathon Competitors must be 18 years or over on race day.

Leaves from the Best Western Standpipe Golf Motor Inn, on the corner of Highway 1 and 87, Port Augusta and finishes at the Quorn Oval Complex.

Marathon Competitors run with the traffic along Highway One till the Quorn turn-off, then cross the road and stay to the right-hand side of the road until the finish. Drink stations are positioned along the route.

Half Marathon, 10.5Km, 5Km and 1Km Junior Dash also available.
