I AM WXMXN – A Feminist Variety Show

A resounding call that all at once shouts fiercely and whispers gently: what do we mean when we say “I am Wxmxn”?

This show is an ode to what it means to embody the divine feminine in 2022; beyond gender, beyond shape, beyond socio-economic status, beyond race, beyond what society shares what it is. A night of joy, raw story telling and entertainment: a raucous celebration of intersectional womanhood, community, shared experience and being a f***in’ Badass.

The Vaudevixens, the troupe of ACT performers led by Charlie Wan, bring their eclectic flavour of dance, burlesque, comedy, drag and clowning to the stage. An inclusive cast of performers of BIPOC, POC, Disabled, Gender-diverse and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds here to kick stereotypes to the curb. We stand for unapologetic expression of self, creating and holding safe spaces for all and creating entertainment that represents, is real, raw and relatable.
