I didn’t know I was Drowning until I saw the Shore

Penn Housman’s collection of images of her art work in pastel and charcoal, aims to provide a visual narrative of how abuse looks through the eyes and the psyche of the abused.
The aim of the work is not to shock but to provide a deeper emotional understanding of what it is like to live with the impact of trauma.
This collection of images has been created over several years and holds the intention of being a creative expression of Penn’s story

There will be a launch on 2 February 2021 6:30 to 8pm at Pilgrim Uniting Church.

Exhibition opening hours are 12 to 2pm Monday to Friday and on Sunday service times.
