Kangaroo Island Cup Carnival

Sealink Kangaroo Island Cup carnival is a ‘must do’ on the South Australian event calendar.

The Cygnet River Racecourse, near Kingscote, comes alive with great country racing on Thursday 15th and Saturday 17th February plus lots of other entertainment to be had around the island over the weekend.

Thursday’s race day is a pretty casual day but on Saturday punters dress up in true racing style for the Dudley Wines Cup. Enjoy the trackside entertainment, colourful marquees, ‘Fashion on the Field’ competition as well as local food and wine.

For those wanting to celebrate the day in style, book a seat at the Kangaroo Island Spirits Long Lunch. Enjoy a three-course lunch and beverage on arrival along with private betting facilities and racebook on the day.

There will be range of pop up bars for you to enjoy with friends, trackside. These include the ever popular Kangaroo Island Spirits Cocktail Bar, a Pirate Life beer bar as well as a Dudley Wines sparkling bar.
