Lunar New Year celebrations in Rundle Mall

Join us on Friday 3 February in Rundle Mall for our free Lunar New Year celebrations!

Welcome in the Year of the Rabbit in Rundle Mall with free traditional Chinese lion dances every hour, on the hour, from 12pm – 6pm on Friday 3 February. Watch in wonderment as the professional acrobatic dancers in full crimson and yellow Chinese lion costumes weave their way down the Mall causing mischief in their search for lettuce, ducking in and out of stores as they perform spectacular feats.

Feeling lucky? Find the God of Fortune handing out red envelopes from 12pm – 4pm containing gilded chocolate coins, shopping vouchers, or Rundle Mall vouchers (with one lucky recipient receiving a $250 voucher to spend!), and snap a picture under the sea of lanterns illuminating the Gawler Place Canopy.
