The Wildroo Ultra Marathon showcases the spectacular east coast of Kangaroo Island, offering runners the option of a 30K or 60K race distance.
The course route starts in the quaint township of Penneshaw. A sunrise hill climb transports runners to the top of Dudley Peninsula providing panoramic views over the ocean to mainland South Australia. Runners will head south crossing over Chapman River and looping around Cape Willoughby lighthouse, before a detour across coastal farm trails that pass by spectacular Antechamber Bay.
The final stretch descends a historic tree lined canopy called Binney’s track, returning runners to the local footy oval where they’ll be greeted by family and friends.
