An afternoon of wines from Barossa’s heartland.
Join winemakers who wholeheartedly celebrate the unique sub-region of central Barossa for a cosy shared table dinner at The Barossa Cellar – Australia’s only regional cellar. Winemakers from Tim Smith Wines, Cirillo Estate, Hart of Barossa, Arno Wine Co., Smallfry Wines and Atze’s Corner will take you through the breadth of subregional wines perfect for winter; whites with depth through to medium bodied and generous reds, revealing just how special this little pocket of Barossa is.
Sit down with the winemakers to chef Mark McNamara’s cassoulet – the world’s best baked beans. But seriously, we’re talking confit duck, pork belly, pure pork sausage and white beans slow cooked in tasty sauce for seven hours – food to sustain you on a cold winter’s eve. Oh and crusty bread, local cheese and fortified to finish, the things we invite our neighbours around for.
4.30pm tasting, 6pm dinner
