Breweries and Distilleries

Blackwood Brewhouse & Distillery is home-based, ultra small-batch brewery and distillery, making a wide variety of slightly different but delicious beers and Gins.

It is only the second brewery and distillery in South Australia to be granted a license to operate out of a residential premises, opening once a month to the public (generally the 3rd Saturday of the month), from Spring through to Autumn, with visitors sitting outside on the brewhouse deck surrounded by Adelaide Hills gum forests.

Opens comprise a 1 hour tasting session. On offer are up to 6 different beers and 5 different Gins, which vary from open to open. Bookings are essential and opens are frequently booked out.
