Herbert Vineyard is a mini winery located in Mount Gambier, the heart of South Australia’s Limestone Coast.
David and Trudy Herbert planted their 1.5 hectare vineyard in 1996, mainly to Pinot Noir with the intention of selling the grapes to local winemakers.
In 2006, a two-level winery and cellar door was constructed, overlooking an impressive 1300 meter square hedge maze which is reflected in their label logo.
Herbert Vineyard grow and produce a range of award winning pinot noirs, whites, blended reds and sparkling wines which are available for tasting and purchase at the cellar door. Tasting direct from the barrels is a feature of the winery. This is available for groups of approximately two to eight people.
