Islander Estate Vineyards

Wineries

Two worlds of wine, perfectly blended.

Kangaroo Island’s only 5-star James Halliday rated winery, The Islander Estate Vineyards brings together two vastly different wine worlds.

The history, heritage and finesse of Bordeaux. And one of Australia’s newest, most remote and untamed wine regions – Kangaroo Island. By contrast rugged, unassuming and unsophisticated.

These two are blended together by Jacques Lurton to create unique, elegant, cool-climate wines with a vision to showcase the true potential of Kangaroo Island wine.

Visit our intimate Cellar Door at Cygnet River for a guided tasting, then select your favourite wine to enjoy with a regional gourmet platter on the lawns or deck in peaceful rural surrounds.

Select some wines to enjoy on your holiday or send home, we ship Australia-wide.

Our Tasting Room is centrally located at Cygnet River, within minutes of Kingscote and Kangaroo Island airport. We welcome wine lovers 6 days a week (closed Wed).
