Tagai’s Cellar Door is situated in Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills just 27kms/35mins from Adelaide’s CBD. Flights of wines are matched with small tasting plates of your choice from the resident chef, using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
When you step inside the cellar door your eyes will immediately be taken to the shou sugi ban (charred) timber interior and the stunning panoramic view of the vineyard and the stringybark bush reserve beyond.
Approach the handcrafted timber bar and talk wine with winemaker or share a carafe of wine and a woodfired pizza, taking your seat indoors or out – all tables capture the view. Stay long enough and you will see the Kangaroos grazing.
Tagai Vineyard and Cellar Door is a boutique award winning artisan wine brand. The vineyard is planted to Chardonnay while the Red wine offerings come from the Langhorne Creek wine region.
