The Ardrossan Museum and Visitor Information Outlet is open 7 days a week from 10am til 4pm. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday only.
The Information Outlet offers a wide range of tourist Information for both Ardrossan and Yorke peninsula. We also have a wide range of souvenirs and hand crafted products made locally.
The museum is housed in the original powerhouse where Clarence Smith and his brother invented the famous Stump Jump Plough which revolutionised the farming industry on Yorke Peninsula.
The Museum also has a maritime room dedicated to the Zanoni, which is a barque wrecked in bad weather, lies approx 15kms south of Ardrossan.
