Welcome to Freycinet Waters Bed and Breakfast in Swansea, on the East Coast of Tasmania. Swansea is a great place to base yourself to explore the region.

Freycinet National Park is just a 40-minute drive, with five wineries along the away. Bicheno and Maria Island are under a 40-minute drive. Launceston, Hobart and St. Helens are each less than a two-hour drive away.

Offering three accommodation room styles; Water view, Court Yard and Apartment. The Water view rooms have queen-size beds, private verandahs, water views, ensuites (with walk-in showers) and reverse cycle air conditioning. The Court Yard room is on the ground floor at the rear of the house, with a king bed, walk-in shower, reverse cycle air conditioning and private courtyard.

Serving traditional seaside-style bed and breakfast comes complete with full ‘English breakfast’ (including haggis and black pudding for the more adventurous) and complimentary port. The Apartment is on the first floor, with a separate bedroom (king-size bed), kitchen/lounge, bathroom (with walk-in shower), washing machine, reverse cycle air conditioning and large deck with water views. The Apartment includes full ‘English breakfast’ provisions and complimentary port.

Our central location makes it an easy walk to all amenities or take the delightful walking track around Waterloo Point.

Ensuite Room

Queen (Waterview rooms) or king size bed (Spa room). All have ensuite, heating, opening windows, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Wi-Fi and port are complimentary. Tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning. All rooms are first floor with minimal steps. Spa room is at rear of house without a view but is a larger room.

Apartment

The Waterview Apartment is first floor. It has a seperate bedroom, kitchen (no oven), lounge area, bathroom with shower and washing machine. It has reverse cycle air conditioning, opening windows and ceiling fans. Full breakfast provisions are provided. Wi-Fi and port are complimentary. Views are from the large deck.
