Green Valley Homestead is a stylish fully self-contained holiday house located in a quiet rural setting on Flinders Island, Tasmania. The cottage sits on a large cattle property only five minutes drive to the bustling township of Whitemark and just 10 minutes to the airport. Green Valley is on the doorstep of some of the most spectacular beaches and bush tracks on Flinders including Trousers Point, Fotheringate Bay, and Mt Strzelecki.

The private cottage garden is the perfect place to chill and enjoy your time on this exquisite island. The fully equipped kitchen is a joy to cook in. The large, open-plan living space is light-filled, offering views of the garden and the farm. The sunroom is a calm and beautiful space for reading and lounging.

The property is fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning and has the added bonus of a wood-burning heater for cooler island nights. The house has two comfortable queen-sized bedrooms while the third has twin singles. The beds all come with designer cotton bed linen and commercial hotel-quality doonas. There are two bathrooms with Sheridan towels, along with a body cleanser, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer.

Fresh flowers have been lovingly placed in every room. Arrive to the smell of freshly made bread and free-range eggs straight from the owner’s chook house along with muesli and milk.
