Langdale Farm is a tiny hobby farm producing delicious pork products and hosting guests for farm stay.
You’ll find us fortnightly at the award winning Harvest Launceston farmers’ market, selling our farm-made Tasmanian pork products to regulars and visitors.
We’re at events during the summer season, cooking up our premium pork sausages and burgers on the wood fired smoker and serving them with a range of locally made relishes.
Our farm is in the West Tamar Valley, half an hour from Launceston, in a rural idyll. Our farm stay is perfect for those wanting to get off the beaten track, especially if you love wine – we’re in the heart of Tamar wine country.
We raise rare breed piggies free range in pens on our farm and a tour is included in your stay. You’ll find a stash of our farm-smoked bacon and English style pork sausages in your fridge if you stay with us. Our farm stay accommodation is dog-friendly.
Your hosts are English couple Oliver and Fiona Stocker. Oliver is the gourmet farmer, and Fiona is the author of travel book Apple Island Wife – Slow Living in Tasmania, available in paperback and e-book at bookstores and online.
