The rugged peaks of Ben Lomond National Park loom behind this large working farm with cattle, sheep, crops and forests. Its a peaceful place to relax, play tennis or fish for trout on the North Esk River. At dusk, native animals emerge from the bush – kangaroos, wallabies, possums and Tasmanian devils. On winter nights, snuggle up to the crackling wood fire to warm up.
Your comfortable cottage is a good base to explore the ski fields and bush walks in the National Park and a short drive from the historic village of Evandale with its fine antique shops, stained glass workshop, cafes and restaurants and the chance of a bargain at the famous Sunday morning market.
