Saints and Sinners B&B/Cafe

Bed and Breakfast

Saints and Sinners B&B/Café is nestled in the township of New Norfolk in Tasmania’s scenic Derwent Valley, a short drive from Hobart. Guests enjoy history with all the modern conveniences of this bed and breakfast located within easy reach of local attractions. Country comfort is combined with a delightful hearty continental breakfast.

Great care has been taken to provide comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodation with each room containing an ensuite equipped with heat lamps for winter, television, heater, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and toiletries.

The Guest kitchen provides guests with Tea/Coffee facilities as well as a microwave and toaster.

Saints and Sinners B&B/Café, historically known as Rockhampton House, derives the current name from a local folklore which states that in the mid 1800s this end of town, located between St Matthews Church and the hotels, was referred to as the “saints and sinners” end of town.

The existing building was erected in three stages dating from 1833. In 1999 the old house was refurbished for use as a bed and breakfast.

Local attractions include the Willow Court and many Antique Shops, Salmon Ponds, Mount Field National Park and much more.
