This tour departs daily 1015, returning at 1630, and heads up the Arthur River through beautiful scenery into the Tarkine wilderness up to the junction of the Frankland and Arthur Rivers before returning to Warra Landing for lunch.
The area is recognised and protected for its myrtles, sassafras, celery top pine, laurels, blackwood and giant tree ferns.
As you cruise upstream on board ‘M V Reflections’ this lush greenery is reflected in the still tea-coloured waters. High above the river bank white bellied sea eagles are perched in the tree with commanding views of the river and waiting to be fed with their fish.
An abundance of bird life can be heard and seen. You can catch a glimpse of Azure kingfishers with their distinct brilliant blue and orange colourings. Platypus may be spotted in their own habitat.
Your senses will sharpen with the scents of leatherwood and sassafras. On the return voyage the white bellied sea eagles become the stars of the show as they gracefully swoop above the boat.
