South Bruny National Park with Bruny Island Safaris

Our Bruny Island tour departs Hobart by 7.30am arriving at Kettering/Bruny Island ferry terminal, catching the 8.30am ferry. Includes South Bruny National Park entry and Lighthouse Tour. Enjoy private cheese tastings and other pre booked visits to local producers, with amazing chocolates and oysters throughout the day.
The tour also includes a big local lunch, with choices of locally caught seafood dishes, island lamb and a giant seafood platter for two. We also cater for those with dietary requirements.
The coastlines are dominated by towering sea cliffs, rainforests, seabirds, penguin colonies, seals, whales, shipwrecks and sweeping white sandy beaches. Captain Cook, Furneaux, D’entrecasteaux and Bligh were some of the early explorers that anchored in Adventure Bay, a sheltered anchorage on the South Island. Whaling and coal mining were amongst the earliest industries in Adventure Bay. Bruny Island is approximately 100 km long – about half the size of Singapore, and has a population of just over 600.
Experience some of the Bruny Island short walks, lookouts, history, culture, wildlife and Bruny Island food. Take the guess work and risk out of driving yourself.
Return to Hobart at approximately 5.30pm. Award for excellence TripAdvisor 2014 and 2015.
