Coral Expeditions – Tasmania

Adventure and Outdoors Tours

Coral Expeditions is Australia’s pioneering cruise line, specialising in a unique style of immersive adventures by small expedition ship. With humble beginnings hosting cruises on the Great Barrier Reef, the company has grown into a borderless fleet. Their pioneering SailSAFE program instigated a successful return to sailing since October 2020.

Their Tasmanian season starts by following the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race departing 26 December 2022 arriving into Hobart for New Years Eve celebrations.

What follows on 1 January 2023 is the Circumnavigation of Tasmania voyage. This 16-night expedition will include a visit to the Josef Chromy Vineyard, hiking through the Strzelecki National Park on Flinders Island, a gourmet lunch and dairy tour on King Island and more than two days exploring the rarely-visited World Heritage wilderness of Port Davey.

Their 10-night Coastal Wilds of Tasmania voyages operate in January and February. An immersive voyage into the wilderness, this cruise showcases the rugged coastal beauty of Australia’s island state.

Their Coastal Treks of Tasmania departures that also run in January and February focus on more adventurous coastal tracks for the serious hikers – a uniquely back to nature experience.

Experienced and knowledgeable Expedition Leaders and Guest Lecturers add an additional layer of education and interest to each journey. All excursions are included.
