Edge of the World Tours is a new adventure tour company with a plan to ‘access the inaccessible’. We plan to take small intimate groups to the ‘real, rare and remote’ areas of Tasmania’s west coast, Bruny Island and Freycinet National Park for an experience like no other.
Edge of the World Tours is committed to providing an outstanding customer service experience to all customers, travel agents, organisations, groups, families and individuals.
The tours are all-inclusive of camping equipment, food and transport. We will operate both one and 3 night tours to both the west and east coasts.
Edge of the World Tours wants to educate not only Tasmanian’s and mainland Australians, but international visitors on the beauty of Tasmania’s isolated areas, the colonial and Aboriginal history, environmental sustainability, minimal impact and the restriction of our ecological footprint.

Real, Rare, Remote

A fully guided all inclusive four day camping tour to Tasmania’s remote West Coast. Our trademark tour showcases the remote untouched wilderness and World Heritage areas together with its rich cultural and historic background.

Tasmanias west coast is known among locals as the ‘wild west’, a reference to its colourful past, untouched wilderness areas and wild weather. While most of the locals are pleased to live in an area that is one of Tasmania’s best kept secrets, they are known for being friendly and down to earth, and love to share their tall stories of mining, fishing and timber, which have been the mainstays of the area since the early 1900’s.

Highlights: Colonial buildings, Aboriginal middens, rainforests, mining towns, fishing village and historic river cruise.

In many ways, Tasmania’s east coast is the “yin” of the west coast “yang”. Whereas the rainy, mountainous and windswept west coast has largely been the preserve of tough men – miners, piners and fishermen – the warm maritime climate of Tasmania’s east coast has made it a popular family holiday destination for more than one hundred years.

This tour allows guests to experience the peaceful eastern coastline as they wind their way from Hobart to the beautiful Freycinet National Park.

Highlights: Full guided experience with knowledgable local guides, pristine beaches, national parks, acclaimed wineries, Tasmania’s famous seafood.
